Morton Buildings, Inc. has 1,800+ employees in 110+ locations across the country. The majority are crewmen on-site building all day, while others are in manufacturing plants or out in the sales field, with only a small percentage behind desks at the corporate office. As a result, MBI faces challenges on how to best reach and communicate with employees all of which have varying access to company-provided technology.
By using participation in a national event, and a fun take on a popular game (B-I-N-G-O), MBI was able to rally employees to use collaboration tools and get them engaged in a topic important to the company’s culture, and even learn a little in the process, all while having fun.
By walking through MBI’s “Mortingo” event, you’ll learn tactics to:
- Empower “champions” to help lead your cause and encourage participation
- Educate employees on a complicated topic in a creative way
- Encourage deskless employees to use company-provided technology to engage with each other
- Incorporate competition elements and prizes that employees want
- Drive employee behavior toward the culture you are striving for
